حالا که مد شده همه ده فیلم برتر دهه اخیرشون رو انتخاب می کنند گفتم بد نیست من هم وارد این بازی بشم. کار سختی بود که همه فیلمها رو جمع کرد و از بین شون ده تا انتخاب کرد. به هر حال این فهرست ده تای برتر منه که به ترتیب معکوس (برای تزریق هیجان کاذب) آوردمشون. واسه اینکه فیلمهای خوب دیگه هم به حق شون برسند بعد ده تا اسم چند تا فیلم دیگه رو آوردم که آثار بسیار خوبی هستند ولی (از نگاه من) نه در حد این ده تا. نکته جالب این بود که هرکاری کردم نتونستم فیلمی از استادان مورد علاقه ام «وودی آلن»، «مارتین اسکورسیزی»، «الیور استون»، «فرانسیس فورد کاپولا» و «کوئنتین تارانتینو» رو بگنجونم. شاید چون در نوستالژی فیلمهای دهه های قبلی شون گیر کردم یا شاید چون واقعا به نسبت خودشون افت کردند. در ضمن با خودم قرار گذاشتم از هر کارگردان بیشتر از یک فیلم توی ده تای برتر نگذارم.
10. ماچوکا (Machuca): ماجراهای حکومت آلنده در شیلی و کودتای نظامی علیه او از نگاه یک پسربچه بورژوا که در خلال دوستی اش با پسری فقیر و خواهرش با حقایق زندگی طبقات پایین آشنا می شود. شدیدا صادقانه و پراحساس که ما را با بلوغ پسر بچه ای در دل وقایع تلخ تاریخی همراهی می کند.

8. دیگران (The Others): فیلمی ترسناک که هیچگاه ارزشهایش درک نشد. شاید بهترین کار در این ژانر از زمان «جن گیر» یا «بچه رزمری». تنها فیلم ترسناکی که مرده ها از زنده ها می ترسند و تاریکی در برابر روشنایی مایه آرامش است.
7. بازگشت ناپذیر (Irreversible): اثری جاودانه و تاییدی بر نقش موثر تکنیک بر هنر سینما. دو ساعت پر از تنش. سکانس های ده دقیقه ای و هرکدام متفاوت از سایرین. رعب انگیز. مانیکا بلوچی.
6. وال.ای (Wall.E): یک رمئو و ژولیت برای آیندگان. آدم و حوای نسل ما. دوست داشتنی و تفکربرانگیز. دارنده یکی از بهترین و شیواترین مونولوگ های تاریخ سینما: “Eveeeee”
5. هزارتوی پن (Pan's Labyrinth): باز هم بلوغ و این بار برای یک دختر. او همچون آلیس به سرزمین فانتزی پا می گذارد ولی بر خلاف آلیس این جسارت با چالش هایی سخت همراه است. فیلمی برای بزرگترها با پوشش کودکانه. در پایان اگر قربان صدقه تخیل سازنده اش نروی ناشکری کرده ای.
4. مالهالند درایو (Mulholland Drive): دوستمون شکسپیر گفته بود زندگی قصه ای است از زبان یک احمق، پر از خشم و هیاهوی بدون معنی. چه لحظه خوشایند و غریبی بود وقتی می فهمیم عمده این فیلم نازنین در تخیل دیوانه وار یکی از شخصیت های فیلم می گذرد. چهل و پنج دقیقه پایانی مالهالند درایو در ترجمان تصویری ذهن آشفته انسان کم نظیر است و جالب تر اینکه هیچکس نمی داند از چه زمانی قلمرو رویا به دنیای واقعیت پیوند می خورد.
3. داگویل (Dogville): فرزند خلف تئاتر و سینما. از آن آس هایی است که یک کارگردان باید بگذارد به عنوان وصیت نهایی زندگی اش رو کند. چقدر دیوار خانه هایمان شفاف است و دل هایمان کدر! چقدر خوی بد در درون همه مان رخنه کرده و منتظر خودنمایی است!
2. پنهان (Cache): نگاهی استعاری به اینکه چطور گذشته سیاه یک انسان (یا یک کشور) سرانجام یک جا خود را نشان می دهد. پر از ظرافت های تدوینی و مهارت های کارگردانی. پایانی فوق العاده. هر بار دیدن فیلم مثل مدیتیشن است.
